PUBG Release Date for Xbox One Announced
The release date of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds for the Xbox One platform announced. The developer Bluehole announced that the popular battle-royale game will be released with early access mode on December 12 with a price tag of $30 during the Paris Games Week.
On December 12, Xbox One players will be able to play the PUBG game through Xbox Game Preview program. Bluehole also stated that they will keep developing the game in order to release the version 1.0 towards the end of December. While the developers are working both on PC and Xbox One platforms at the same time, they also noted that each of the games for different platforms has their own roadmap and will be slightly different from each other.
Bluehole VP Chang Han Kim told that “We are focusing on the community for the Xbox platform as we do the same for the PC platform. As a result, the ultimate battle royale experience that the fans of the game will experience on Xbox One platform will be slightly different from the PC version.”
Xbox One players will be able to buy customized and special cosmetic packs. These three packs will be available for a limited time only for the Xbox One platform. These packs are PUBG Warrior Pack, Tracksuit Pack, and Accessories Pack. Apart from these, Bluehole told that there will be no in-game purchase in Xbox Game Preview version.
Microsoft told in the previous E3 which took place in 2017 that the game will be released as exclusive to Xbox One console, however, there was no precise information about the release date of the game up to now.
