The popular Battle Royale game will be available for the Xbox One console in December.
The developer team, Bluehole, has finally announced the release date of the game for the console in Paris Gaming Week. The popular shooting game PlayerUnknown’s Battleground will be available for Xbox One on December 12, 2017.
Xbox One players who have the privilege the participate in Xbox Game Preview program will be able to have an access to the game on December 12. Bluehole also plans to transit to the original game with the version 1.0 and Early Access towards the end of December. While the developers are working on Xbox One and PC version at the same time, they told that each of the versions has different maps and will be slightly different from each other.
Bluehole vice president and executive producer Chang Han Kim said told the following about Xbox Wire: “We have adopted a community-oriented approach in Xbox One development like we do for the PC platform. The progress on the Xbox One will be different than on the PC”
Xbox One players will be able to buy cosmetic packages where special content are available in them. PUBG warrior pack, accessories pack and track suit pack will be available for a limited time on Xbox One. Bluehole also stated that there will be no sale apart from these three packs in Xbox Game Preview program. It is possible to check the images of some packs which will be available on the Xbox One platform, however, none of these are confirmed.
Microsoft stated that the game will be released specially for Xbox One in E3 however it is not clear yet. According to the rumors, Microsoft will extend the period of PUBG to remain special for Xbox One.
